James Lee Community Center

The Community Center’s expansion and renovation project was financed by the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority and included the purchase of five additional parcels of land to construct the improvements. The purpose of expansion and renovation project was to respond to the needs of the community and its multi-cultural heritage. The center was closed for renovations and now includes the 250 seat James Lee Playhouse, two gymnasiums, a kitchen and meeting rooms for community activities and events. The facility has expanded from 34,400 SF to 57,400 SF.
